No AI detection tool is 100% accurate. HumanMeter provides probability scores to help you make informed decisions. High-quality AI-generated content may be harder to detect, and heavily compressed real videos might show false positives. Use our results as one factor in your assessment.
Currently, we support videos from:

Scans can fail for several reasons:
- Private video: The video may be private or deleted
- Platform blocking: Some platforms may block download attempts
- Network issues: Check your internet connection
Each video scan costs 2 credits. New users receive 50 free credits to get started. You can purchase additional credits through in-app purchases. Credits never expire and are stored securely on your device.
All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your HumanMeter purchase
- Select "Request a refund"
When we detect a known public figure in a video, we flag it for extra scrutiny. This is especially important when the celebrity is deceased (potential deepfake) or in an unusual context. The alert doesn't mean the video is definitely fake—it's a signal to be more cautious.
No. Videos are analyzed in real-time and immediately discarded after analysis. We don't store video content on our servers. Only anonymous usage analytics are collected to improve the app.
Yes! Use the "Upload from Camera Roll" feature to analyze videos you've already saved. This is especially useful when link scanning fails.
